Blogs have really exploded from a place where someone would discribe their morning drive, to a viable way to dispense information to students and fellow educators. I think that it would be very useful to use a blog to provide supplemental information to students. It would also be a great way to pass videos and audio clips that support what is being taught. By having these extra avenues to pass on information, it provides students ways to continue information gathering outside of the physical classroom.
